Norfolk Maths Challenge success

PrepSix of our talented Year 5 pupils took part in the Norfolk Maths Challenge at Norwich School, competing against 33 other pairs. There were six rounds of puzzles including dominoes, tangrams, broken calculators and train timetables. All our pupils worked very hard but Zach and Coen were the stars of the show, finishing 2nd overall.

On Friday it was the turn of four Year 6 pupils, again competing against 33 pairs from around Norfolk. This time it was a focus on algebra, Countdown (think C4 number round!) and a final round of 20 problems to solve. We managed another 2nd place, with George and Louie performing amazingly well against very strong opposition.

They brought prizes and big smiles back to school after the event.
