STEMM Conference at UEA for Year 12 Students

On Wednesday, 4th July, Langley Year 12 students attended the STEMM conference at the UEA.

Students took part in a variety of activities including; programming drones, learning about water security, sound processing for documentaries, microbes developing resistance to drugs and sustainable building.

The last treat of the day was a tour of the Enterprise Centre with Engineers from Morgan Sindall, the Civil Engineering company responsible for the build of the centre. One of Engineers who took time to show our students around the centre was Alex Hall, former Langley pupil (Alex Hall is 2nd from the right on the photo).

“What a great end to such a positive day. It was lovely to listen to Alex talk to our students about his journey into a successful career in Civil Engineering” James Clegg, Head of Science.
