Langley Equestrian Team Goes From Strength To Strength

The Langley Equestrian Team put in a fantastic performance this weekend at the Norfolk and Cambridge Show Jumping County Qualifier, Royal Windsor Horse Show Qualifier and Hickstead Elite Qualifier at Forest Edge.

Evie B (Prep School), Daisy Papworth, Polly Papworth, Imogen Gill, Evie Matthews, Joe Deane and Oliver Kidner represented Langley against fifteen other schools from the surrounding area.

The team of Evie Matthews, Joe and Oliver came first in the 90/95 cm class securing Langley a place at the County Championships and Royal Windsor Horse Show which will take place next summer.  This win in 90/95 cm class, and their second place finish in the 1 meter class means they have qualified for the Hickstead Elite Horse Show. On top of this first class result, Oliver Kidner and his horse Obama qualified to represent Langley as an individual at Hickstead. Langley’s success continued with a fourth place finish in the 80/85 cm class and seventh place finish by the second team in the 90/95 cm class.

The riders and horses all worked incredibly hard. A huge congratulations for such a superb effort.
