Year 2s travelled to the Sainsbury Centre last week, to view their current exhibition, Art Deco by the Sea. It very much epitomises life in the 1930’s with films, sculptures and paintings of the era. Our pupils were enthralled by the artwork and spent considerable time drawing images of the exhibition. It is really important that children are exposed to a variety of different images of our world; it widens their horizons and allows them to develop interests in later years.
