Well done to Year 6 pupil Oliver W who travelled up to Harrogate to join his barbershop chorus for the British Association of Barbershop Singers (BABS) National Chorus Contest that was held on Saturday 26 May at the Harrogate International Centre.

After months of preparation and hard work, we are thrilled to share the news that Fine City Chorus won their division with their highest-ever score of 64.2% (a 3.3% increase on last year)! The chorus are now reigning Division Three champions and have been promoted to Division Two for the first time in their 43-year history. Everyone is absolutely delighted!

Oliver thoroughly enjoyed himself, once again being the youngest contestant to cross the stage. He is proud to be a member of Fine City Chorus and is very lucky to sing with such a lovely group.
