Congratulations to Year 8 pupil Brady M who has qualified for the National Squash Championships in Hull this month. We wish him well and look forward to following his progress.

Brady recently returned from the Prince Surrey Gold Junior Open, where he played at the famous Wimbledon Club, finishing a respectable 12th in a 64 draw event. He beat two higher-ranked players on his way to his highest Gold position in this particular age group so far.

We have been delighted to see Brady finish an impressive 10th in the recent Silver Event at the Manchester Junior Open. Brady also competed in the British Junior Championships in Nottingham, the highlight being victories over the Welsh number two and Oxford number one players. He took part in the British Junior Open in Birmingham, as well as the Silver Event in the British Junior Closed at Pontefract, where Brady reached the final.

Closer to home, Brady has climbed all the way up eleven divisions of the UEA Sports Park men’s squash league to reach the Premier League. He continues to represent East Anglia Squash club in the men’s team matches and he has been picked once again for the Regional Aspire Programme at Cambridge University.
