Our Year 4s enjoyed a lovely walk down to St.Edmund’s church for their Harvest Festival, where they were made very welcome by Rev Seabrook and his wife and helpers.
The theme of the festivities was thinking about making sure that everyone in the world had enough to eat and the people who had plenty, shared with those who didn’t . In preparation for the Harvest the children designed their very own dreamcoat (shown below) to perform  a re-enactment of the story of Joseph at the church.  The children also sang songs taught by Mrs Seabrook, enjoyed a craft activity and wrote a prayer. Their prayers were hung on a tree and will be part of the Harvest festival at the church. Thank you to Rev Seabrook and team for a wonderful Harvest Festival.
