It is lovely to receive regular news of our pupils’ achievements outside of school and we would like to pass on our congratulations to the following pupils who have been busy at a number of events:

Squash Champion
Year 8 pupil, Brady M’s squash success continued and his performance at the U13 Regional Championships was once again outstanding. This is an event that draws the best players from Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire and ater a fairly smooth first couple of rounds Brady went on to beat Essex Number 1 in the Quarter Finals and the Suffolk Number 1 in the Semi-Finals. In the finals he was up against the Cambridge Number 1 and after both winning 2 games each, Brady narrowly lost in a thrilling final game.

Congratulations to Year 7 pupil, Ethan C, who came first in his age group at the Highball Climbing Centre Bouldering competition. Tackling 30 challenging boulder routes he not only came first in his age group but was part of a junior team who also finished in top position. Bouldering is a form of rock climbing that is performed on small rock formations or artificial rock walls, known as boulders, without the use of ropes or harnesses.

Football mascot for NCFC
Year 3 pupil Zithelo N, was delighted to walk out onto the field with NCFC premier league players.
