Our Year 7 and 8 pupils spent 5 days in Normandy on an immersion programme at La Grand Ferme, a residential centre which specialises in introducing youngsters to the French language and culture. The group’s adventures included: baking their own bread, kayaking, exploring the beautiful Normandy countryside on bikes, a visit to the Goat Farm, walking 5 miles across the Mont St Michel bay through a river, picnics, crêperies and lots of delicious French food at La Grand’Ferme and finally a French Night & Quiz on the last night.
An unforgettable trip to Normandy and feeling truly privileged, they return with happy memories of new friendships made and old ones enriched over shared meals together.
