Langley School is one of the most advanced, well-resourced and forward looking independent schools in the East of England. The school has an inclusive ethos and a commitment both to academic excellence and to meeting the broader needs of every pupil.

The academic foundation

At Langley School, the academic foundation is the base upon which all else is built. Whether you are a budding artist, sports superstar or keen engineer, our priority at Langley will be to ensure that you receive a first rate academic education.

‘A no glass ceilings approach’

We have a Growth Mindset philosophy, with no glass ceilings. We do not talk of pupils reaching their full potential, as we do not know what this could be; rather we want to grow potential. In order to do this, we need to find out what makes each pupil thrive, and then develop this.

Mighty oaks from little acorns grow

At Langley, there is something for everyone – whatever your strengths or interests may be. Moreover, if you have not discovered these yet, we will help you find them with so much on offer.

‘A family school that caters for all your children’

We have a long history of catering for all children, whether they be solely academic (see our Oxbridge pathways), very sporting or have specific inclination to a subject area such as languages, the Arts or STEM. We also have outstanding provision for those that may have SEN or EAL requirements.
Small class sizes, along with a dedicated and caring teaching body, result in an extremely secure and positive working environment and outstanding pastoral provision.

If you cannot find what you are looking for or have any other academic queries, we are here to help. Please do not hesitate to contact the school.
