Two talented Spanish actors from the Onatti play company performed their sketch set in the old Wild West- El Viejo Salón. The central theme of the plot was the fact that the saloon owner and his daughter had been robbed and were short of money and therefore decide to enter a talent competition to help pay the bills. A lot of hilarity ensued around the entries for the talent competition and there was a happy ending as the saloon daughter won with her dance routine and found love too! Our pupils Joe Wright did a great job throughout the play as the bartender and there was some positive participation from Daisy McDowell, Harry Copplestone and Finlay Whiteley, as well as the audience as a whole.
As usual the play was a total immersion in Spanish allowing us to enjoy the listening experience and the dramatic effects. Yeeha!
