In Photography A level we are highlighting the work of Year 13 student:

Charlotte Hammond
Charlotte has worked intensively over the last two years exploring the representation of mental health, specifically looking at how photography can be used to represent different aspects, to create different view points and explore inner worlds.
Charlotte is intending to study Law at degree level and has found her Photography A Level a creative outlet enabling her to combine her interests, practical work and research. Charlotte concluded her studies in Photography by using her 15 hour practical exam to create a full size gown entirely from origami. To create the dress, many hundreds of her photographic images were carefully folded into the ‘fortune teller’ shape. The symbolism of this specific origami shape denotes questions, answers and hidden messages.
