In celebration of Biology Week, an Inter house bake off competition was held. The theme was ‘declining pollinators’, highlighting the rapid decline of these and many other species due to issues such as climate change and habitat loss. House representatives from both the Junior and Senior end of the school took part making biscuits with their own bee designs. Our Headmaster, Mr Perriss, very kindly performed judging duties. It was a hard-fought contest and a difficult decision with so may colour and imaginative designs. In the end it was a clean sweep for Crome who gained first place in both categories. Many congratulations to Aisha Bradley and Ava Lines for the Junior team and Imogen Gill and Isabelle Mercer for the Senior team. Thanks go out to all that took part for their effort and creativity and also to the Food Preparation and Nutrition department for their organisation and hosting of the event.
