Our Langley School Equestrian Team is a wonderful example of our Prep and Senior Schools coming together, especially when they achieve national qualifications!
At Forest Edge arena, the team united as the older students mentored the younger ones, including Langley Prep School pupil Archie K, who was placed 7th out of 43 riders in the 70/75cms, securing himself a place in the Plate Final later in the year.
The 90/95cms team consisted of Senior School students Daisy P and Joe D, plus Evie B from the Prep School. They finished 3rd, also qualifying for the Plate Final, with Evie Bond-Smith placing 6th out of 60 riders to compete at the Plate Championships as an individual.
Further success was had by the team with the addition of Oliver K. They placed 1st in the 1m, qualifying them for the Hickstead Elite Championships in August and National Championships at Addington Manor in October. Oliver’s 2nd place finish in the 1.10 has also qualified him for an individual place at both these Championships as well. What wonderful results for the whole of the Langley School Equestrian Team.
