We set some of our Year 7 classes an Easter holiday task to support their learning and to also encourage a bit of creativity and fun. With rainbows in windows all over the country, spreading joy to neighbours and passers by, the symbol of peace and hope – the rainbow – was at the centre of the task.
Pupils had to make a rainbow using any materials and media they wanted and, along with it, write a rainbow-themed poem, again in any form. The submissions were brilliant and here is a gallery to show off some examples (click images to see in full). Thank you to the Year 7 pupils who got involved, your rainbows continue to spread happiness and hope.
