We welcome applications for entry into all years. However, the main entry points are into:-

- Year 3 (age 7)

How to apply
Step 1 Make an enquiry
To register your interest in your child joining Langley Preparatory School at Taverham Hall, please complete this enquiry form or telephone the Admissions Secretary on 01603 868206 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Step 2 Confirmation of receipt of your enquiry
Our Admissions Secretary will contact you upon receipt of your enquiry, register your details and provide you with the relevant information about the School.
Step 3 Personal visit, Open Morning, Teas Tours Talks event
The Admissions Secretary will be delighted to arrange a personal visit for you to view the School in operation and meet with the Head of Prep and Head of Pre-Prep as appropriate. Details of our next Open Morning and Teas Tours Talks events will also be provided and you will be invited to reserve your place.
Step 4 Registration and Taster Day
Following your visit and/or attendance at one of our Open Mornings or Teas Tour Talks events our Admissions Secretary will contact you for a follow-up and you will be able to arrange a Taster Day for your child. A registration form will need to be completed together with payment of the £75 registration fee. A request for your child’s latest school report will be made at this stage.
Step 5 Formal offer of a place
Following your child’s Taster Day, details will be shared with you and a formal offer of a place may or may not be made.
Step 6 Acceptance Form
Joining paperwork including an acceptance form will be provided for completion along with a request for payment of the £275 deposit* to secure your child’s place.
Step 7 Confirmation of your child’s place
Upon receipt of all completed forms together with payment of the deposit, you will receive confirmation of your child’s place and the agreed starting date.

Each academic year beginning in September, the Head of Prep will award scholarships to children of outstanding ability. These are awarded for art, music, sport, academic and in exceptional circumstances, an all-rounder, which encompasses all of the above. Scholarships results in a reduction of fees, by a percentage, which is retained throughout a pupil’s time at Langley Preparatory School at Taverham Hall, subject to satisfactory progress.

Consequently, bursaries are based on means-testing and are provided for pupils whose parents could not otherwise afford to send their child(ren) to our Independent School in Norwich.
